Why We Built QInsights
IWe looked at the current landscape of research technology and saw a broken promise. The market was suddenly flooded with tools claiming to automate everything—from conducting the interview to writing the final executive summary with little human interaction.
But as researchers and builders, we knew the technical reality: Large Language Models are optimized for fluency, not accuracy. When you force them into rigid, legacy coding workflows or let them act as unsupervised analysts, they don't just make mistakes—they generate insights that are highly plausible, beautifully formatted, and fundamentally wrong.
Building a fully automated black box would have been easy to sell to the masses. But for teams making high-stakes, multi-million dollar decisions, a polished illusion of research is a massive liability. We didn't want to build a tool that forces you to defend an AI hallucination. So, we built a research engine instead.
Our Core Principles
1. AI is an analytical engine, not an oracle.
We use AI for what it actually does best: deep conversational analysis. It is incredibly powerful at processing massive amounts of dialogue, finding broad patterns, and surfacing hidden narratives. But it is not a replacement for human judgment.
2. The researcher owns the truth.
We do not let AI grade its own homework. QInsights supports synthesizing data and deriving themes, but the researcher always stays in the driver's seat to verify, challenge, and finalize the output.
3. We reject the "Vibe Check" approach.
If you need 500 AI interviews and polished report by Friday, we are not the right platform. We build for the boutique agencies, the enterprise teams, and the service designers who actually care if the underlying data is true.
